Anne Riekki, LLM, MSc (Econ) has been appointed Director for Fund Investments at Finnish Industry Investment for the duration of Jouni Hakalas post as State Secretary at the Ministry of Employment and the Economy. Anne Riekki is responsible for investments in Finnish and foreign venture capital and private equity funds. She will continue as a member of the management team.
“The current climate is once again challenging for both fund-raising and exits. In fund investments we will continue to put emphasis on internationalisation and developing companies with growth potential, says Anne Riekki.
Anne Riekki started at Finnish Industry Investment in 2007 as Investment Manager and she was promoted to Investment Director in the fund investment team in 2009.
Juuso Puolanne, MSc (Econ), has been appointed Investment Director in the mergers and acquisitions team at Finnish Industry Investment. His responsibilities include analysing companies, preparing investment proposals and managing the portfolio in close co-operation with portfolio companies, co-investors and other financiers.
Juuso Puolanne has over 8 years of experience in M&A activity and management consulting from Ernst & Young and Corporate Advisor Group.
“Finnish Industry Investment has been an active player in the M&A field in recent years. I am enthusiastic about developing our current portfolio companies further as well as actively screening the market for new potential companies. Especially the mining, services and cleantech sectors are key areas for Finnish Industry Investment and also familiar to me from my previous jobs,” says Juuso Puolanne.
