Appointments at Finnish Industry Investment

Jussi Sainiemi, MSc (Eng), CEFA, has been appointed Investment Manager in Finnish Industry Investment’s Venture Capital team. His duties in Finnish Industry Investment will include the analysis of prospective investments, the preparation of investment proposals and the management of portfolio companies in close collaboration with the companies themselves, co-investors and other financiers.

Previously Jussi Sainiemi worked for many years at Pöyry Management Consulting, in positions addressing competiveness, strategy and corporate financing.

“Finnish Industry Investment presented an interesting position in venture capital, and a hands-on opportunity to be involved in developing Finnish growth companies,” explains Jussi Sainiemi.

Juha Lehtola, MSc (Eng), has been appointed Investment Director in Finnish Industry Investment’s Venture Capital team. Juha Lehtola has nine years’ of experience in venture capital investments. He started at Finnish Industry Investment in 2009, and before that worked in Nordic Venture Partners and Aura Capital.

“Finland’s stock of growth companies has both grown and diversified. Finnish Industry Investment’s Venture Capital team has been involved in financing and developing many promising companies in many different sectors. I believe that, despite challenging economic times, we will have positive news this year also about the growth and internationalisation of Finnish companies through venture capital financing,” Juha Lehtola says.

Anna Kilpeläinen, MSc (Econ), has been appointed Finnish Industry Investment’s Communications Manager. She has worked for the company as Communications Officer since 2010. Before Finnish Industry Investment she has worked at the British Embassy in Helsinki and at Finpro in Brussels.
