Finnish Industry Investment invests in a new Tamseed Ky venture capital fund which starts to operate in Tampere region. The fund invests in companies at their early stage and its' administrated by the Innofinance from Espoo. The Fund was founded in October 29, 2002.
After the first round the total amount of capital invested is EUR 5,6 million, with Industry Investment accounting for EUR 1 million . The target is to grow the amount of capital commitments up to 10 million euros.
In Tampere region Innofinance cooperates with the venture capital investment company Sentio Invest Oy. The goal of Innofinance and Sentios' strategic coopertation is to strengthen the venture capital investing in the whole region. Sentio will focus on growth stage companies and restructuring and Innofinance to the companies at their early stage.
In addition to Industry Investment the other investors of Tamseed are Pohjola Group, Sitra and Pikespo.
