Finnish Industry Investment Ltd, Oy Wedeco Ab and Mutual Insurance Company Pension Fennia have made an investment commitment totalling EUR 11 million in a new fund, Wedeco Fund IV Ky. The new fund will invest in buyouts and M&As in later growth stage companies. The fund seeks investment targets in all industries in Western Finland, primarily in the former province of Vaasa. The fund can be a majority or minority shareholder. An individual investment is generally below EUR 1 million.
