Capital, expertise and networks for going international

Finnish Industry Investment invests in private equity funds and directly in companies in growth and internationalisation phases, as well as in merger and acquisition situations. In this way, we increase the availability of risk financing for innovative growth companies and boost their chances of succeeding in international markets.

We invest together and on the same terms with private investors. By encouraging private investors to join in as co-investors, more capital, business talent and valuable networks become available for the investee companies. Early-stage growth companies generally require long-term risk sharing between several investors. Our co-investors typically include Finnish and foreign venture capital firms, pension funds as well as industrial and private investors.

Our current investments and commitments total EUR 700 million, placed in around 80 investment funds and 80 growth companies.
